Our House is dedicated to helping seriously ill or disabled children by providing them and their families a caring and supportive “home away from home” and by extending this care to the hospital setting in Maritime communities through our Ronald McDonald Family Room® program.
Our Vision is to ensure that the ever changing needs of children and families receiving pediatric services will be met with people and programs in an environment of safety, compassion, commitment and integrity.
The 13th Annual Ronald McDonald House Golf Classic takes place on Thursday, September 9th at Brightwood Golf & Country Club. All proceeds from this event go towards maintaining and operating the House. Participation is important to us; we offer a variety of ways that you and your company can become involved. CTV Adopts Playroom for kids! Our kids playroom has had a makeover! CTV recently spent a day creating a new space for the children staying at the House. Partnering with a team from NSCC and starting from scratch, they installed benches, built storage space, hooked up new televisions and an apple computer. They donated board games, toys, Wii and movies, creating a bright, colourful room that clearly says ‘kids hang out here’!
